it-soft GmbH has joined the Alliance for Cyber Security and is now a member of the initiative of the Federal Office for Information Security (in collaboration with BITKOM).
This makes the system house part of the alliance of companies and institutions that share the goal of increasing IT security and strengthening resilience to cyber attacks.
Every year, the failure of IT systems causes billions of dollars in damage. Most of the time, such problems can be avoided through appropriate preventive measures. The more important the data is within a network, the more dangerous it is if it falls into someone else's hands or is even destroyed.
For this reason, companies should take care of effective protective mechanisms. This includes, among other things, setting up a firewall system, implementing virus protection mechanisms at the network and client level and setting up a modern virtual private network (VPN).
Extensive data loss can be just as dangerous. This has already meant the end of many a company. You should therefore not take any risks at all when backing up your data.
When setting up a new IT infrastructure, particular attention is paid to data protection and data security. The sensitive customer data is stored in our own network and on our own servers in the certified data center in Munich. Safety comes first.
Based on many years of experience in this field, it made sense to join the Alliance for Cybersecurity.
Membership makes it possible to report cyber attacks in order to increase transparency regarding the methods and interests of attackers. With this information, the alliance continually expands the basic knowledge for members and participants. Corresponding experience and expert groups also take place for discussion and information exchange. It should serve to sustainably prevent attacks on institutions.
